[DE] Arabs in F(r)iction ist eine hybride Plattform, die sich mit Vorstellungen, Darstellungen und Reibungen arabischer Erinnerungen in Berlin auseinandersetzt. Das Projekt fordert das Recht arabischer Communities ein, selbst über ihre Geschichten und Repräsentation in der Stadt entscheiden zu können. Es besteht aus einer Reihe von Dialogen, künstlerischen Workshops sowie einem Podcast. Die gesammelten Erzählungen werden über eine digitale Plattform zugänglich gemacht. Sie bildet den Ausgangspunkt für ein Gegen-Archiv arabisch-arabischer Erinnerungen in Berlin

ندوة تناقش قصصاً حول تشكيل المجتمعات التي تستفيد من آليات التعاضد والانتماء ومراعاة الاختلاف داخل الجماعات الناطقة بالعربية المتنوعة في برلين. في حين أن مفهوم "الرعاية" غالباً ما يخضع تقليدياً لمعايير جندرية وينسب إلى النساء*، تدعو الندوة بالمقابل ثلاثة متحدّثات لتحدي هذا المفهوم الشائع. من خلفيات عدة في الموسيقى والكوميديا والعمل الثقافي، تشارك ضيفاتنا وإياكمن روايات شخصية ومجتمعية عن تجارب العيش والعمل في برلين.
Arab* Women* and the limitations of care
The panel discusses stories of community-making through various processes of longing, belonging, and attending to differences within the diverse Arabic-speaking communities in Berlin. While ‘care’ is often gendered and assigned to women*, we invite three speakers to challenge the boundaries of the popular concept. From music to comedy and cultural work, our guests will unfold personal and communal narratives of living and working in Berlin

لعُلا خبرة في مجال التنمية الدولية في ما يتعلّق بالشأن السوري في تركيا، الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وألمانيا.

Ola Almoushref, is an aspiring stand-up comedian who started in April 2021 doing stand-up comedy in Arabic in Berlin. Ola comes from an International development background, working on the Syrian context, in Turkey, USA, and Germany.

ضيفات الندوة:

أروى الدامرجي هي مصممة تواصل بصري وباحثة عراقية مقيمة في برلين. تركز أروى على التواصل بين الثقافات وتستكشف السرديات المضادة للهيمنة في بحثها. انتقلت أروى من عمان إلى برلين في عام 2020 لمتابعة درجة الماجستير في الاستدامة في الأزياء والصناعات الإبداعية. تعمل حاليًا كمديرة تواصل في مشاريع وبرامج تُعنى بالفنون والثقافة والهجرة في برلين.

Arwa Al Damerji is an Iraqi visual communication designer and researcher based in Berlin. She focuses on cross-cultural communication in her practice and explores counter-hegemonic narratives in her research. Arwa moved from Amman to Berlin in 2020 to pursue her Master's Degree in Sustainability in Fashion and Creative Industries. She currently works as a communication and network manager at the intersection of arts, culture, and migration in Berlin.

تناقش الندوة قصصاً حول تشكيل المجتمعات التي تستفيد من آليات التعاضد والانتماء ومراعاة الاختلاف داخل الجماعات الناطقة بالعربية المتنوعة في برلين.
