Welcome to Ghost Palace Family

Toni and Jonathan met in the mid-2000s in 13eins Ansbach, Bavaria. Back then, Jonathan had a band with his brother called A Rose’s Diary. Shortly afterwards, Toni founded the project “letters to you“.

Both Toni and Jonathan were emo kids to the bone with black clothes, dark hair and painted finger nails, deeply rooted in this small but very active “emo“ scene. It was a great time to be alive. The online platform Myspace was the blueprint for everything they found in their music and made them a part of this sub culture at its peak.

Years went by, they moved to other places and saw each other very scarcely but kept in touch. In 2024 Toni visited Jonathan and his family and they listened to the music from the old days. Both felt the memories coming back and the influence the music had on them. The idea of a split EP arose.

Here’s a nostalgic ode to the Myspace era and 20 years of friendship, remastered by and on a not very dark day in Thessaloniki, Greece.

The Split EP “𝖂𝖍𝖊𝖓 𝖊𝖒𝖔 𝖒𝖊𝖆𝖓𝖙 𝖋𝖗𝖎𝖊𝖓𝖉𝖘𝖍𝖎𝖕 𝖔𝖓 𝕸𝖞𝖘𝖕𝖆𝖈𝖊 𝖊𝖗𝖆“ will be released on 5th December via Ghost Palace Family.

𝐀 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐞’𝐬 𝐃𝐢𝐚𝐫𝐲 was an acoustic, emo, singer-songwriter duo from 2006 to 2009. It was founded by brothers Jonathan und in Middle Franconia. When Jonathan moved to Frankfurt it became his solo project. During their existance, they released 2 LPs, 2 EPs, and 2 Split-EPs.

𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 was an 3-piece project from Ingolstadt, known for their quieter, acoustic style. They were founded 2008 and disbanded in 2014. They released 4 EPs and were featured on various compilations (Listen Up, Kids!! Vol. 11, Heart Circle, for acoustic lovers // compilation vol. 1 and in2music.) They work together with and .neuburger.1 from the Band

New Signing //

has officially joined to our family and we couldn‘t be more thrilled.

Pretty Average, a four head Berlin based band, brings a fresh attitude to the shoegaze /post-punk scene in Berlin. Front woman Candy plays and sings her songs in her powerful gender-indistinct manner. This is combined with Sergi’s distorted wall of effects and repetitive guitar sounds.

They are his first songs he ever recorded and released on several mini edition EPs in 2002/2003. Originally recorded on 16 track 1/2 inch tape in Daniel’ s first studio in a basement in the Black Forest, he reworked and remixed them in 2024 in Tessaloniki, Erfurt and Berlin. Mastered in Seattle by

Ghost Scapes is also the name of a new project that is rather a collective than a solo project.
Daniel’s experimental music, his compositions for soundtracks and theater/dance productions and collaborations with other artists put into pop songs will be released under this name.

This record is part of the which supports a basic income for artists and musicians.

As label we limited ourselves to 4 releases a year to be able to focus on each release the way it deserves. We still wanna give other acts we like the chance to release their music via our network. That’ s why we started Ghost Palace Family. If you created music you believe should be heard by being released online and in stores, please contact us.

One of the bands called based in Karlsruhe, Germany.
The music of MICOR feels like a film that was never made – atmospheric, poetic, and profound. At its center is actor and musician Robert Besta (known from Back in Action / Netflix, Die Fallers), whose compositions and lyrics create a haunting sonic world somewhere between Nick Cave, Tindersticks, indie, jazz, and dark folk.

The debut album “Redemption” will be released on July 19th, 2025 via Ghost Palace, produced by and Craig Gray (Lazy Giants) at Kangaroo Studio.
