On Christmas Eve, when the world gets a little louder about joy, family, and togetherness, many of us are just… tired.
Especially if “family” has never felt simple or safe.
If you grew up with constant criticism, the holidays can quietly pull you back into survival mode.
That hyper-alert feeling.
The urge to be perfect.
To keep everyone else okay, even when you’re not.
This post is a gentle reminder:
nothing is wrong with you.
Your nervous system learned what it had to learn to protect you. And it can learn something new now, too.
Tonight, if you can, give yourself one small moment of softness.
One slower breath.
One kinder sentence to yourself.
One choice that says: I matter, too.
Sending love to everyone for whom this season is complicated. 🎄❤️🩹✨
