Der TR-808 der Trance-Legende spielte eine zentrale Rolle in dessen Karriere und der Entstehung seines Welthits „For An Angel“.

Paul van Dyk is exhibiting his Roland TR-808 at the Synthesizer Museum Berlin. It will remain on display until next year. 

The iconic drum machine, which is ubiquitous within electronic and dance music culture, was used by van Dyk on a number of his tracks. These include his 1994 anthem, 'For An Angel', and its subsequent 1998 'E-Work Remix', named after the landmark Berlin club where the artist held an early residency.

Am 09.08.2025 sind alle Elemente der Hip Hop Kultur in der Panke versammelt und euch erwartet ein ganzer Tag voller hochkarätiger Dance Battles, ein Graffiti Jam und ein Producer Community Event mit Competition.

“BEAT LEAGUE - Home of Beat Producers” ist ein bundesweiter Community Event und genre-offener Wettbewerb.

Das Regelwerk ist einfach und durchaus anspruchsvoll.
Jede:r Producer erhält das gleiche Sample und hat die Aufgabe, innerhalb von zwei Stunden eine Produktion abzugeben.

Wer das Publikum und die Jury begeistern kann, räumt ab!

Glaubst du, dass dein Beat 50 Punkte einheimsen kann?
Dann pack deinen Rechner, MPC, Maschine, 909, 808, Boss oder Field Recorder ein, vergiss deine Kopfhörer nicht und nimm teil!
