Developed through residencies, live performances, and years of research into interactive electronics, feedback systems, and immersive sound, "Always Untils" transforms cornet, live processing, delays, samplers, and multichannel spatialization into continuously evolving sonic environments.

New release out now by Elektramusic Berlin - Paul Clouvel : « Who Says This? », 6 pieces for saxophones and electronics, composed by by Michael Edwards and performed by Henrique Portovedo.

A major work at the intersection of saxophone, electronics, algorithmic composition and sonic experimentation.

Developed across decades of compositional research and performance practice, this release explores the dialogue between acoustic gesture and digital transformation, between improvisation and structure, between breath and code.
For Michael Edwards, the saxophone became a space where composition, programming and electroacoustic experimentation converge. For Henrique Portovedo, this project represents years of artistic and research exploration into augmented performance, complexity and the evolving identity of the contemporary saxophonist.

Recorded between California, Germany, Scotland and Portugal, each piece unfolds its own sonic world , from abstract electroacoustic textures to deeply physical instrumental writing, combining bespoke real-time electronics with virtuosic saxophone performance.

An essential release for listeners interested in contemporary music, computer music, electroacoustic composition and experimental sound art.

Available today on Elektramusic website, Bandcamp and soon on streaming platforms (links in bio).

Elektramusic Berlin - Paul Clouvel just released "Freedom Stone" by Lithuanian composer Ugnė Makselytė.

This six-piece album is a semi-avant-garde exploration of rhythm
as ritual, tracing trance states between pagan archetypes,
medieval liturgy, and the anarchic energy of rave. Born from
improvisation, the music draws on Baltic folklore, medieval chant, and personal memories of the Lithuanian countryside, weaving field recordings into arrangements that feel both organic and ceremonial.

Ugnė Makselytė is a Lithuanian composer, vocalist, and sound artist whose work spans experimental electroacoustic music, vocal improvisation, and immersive soundscape composition. She brings together folk traditions, classical vocal techniques, and contemporary electronics to create music that is both deeply rooted in heritage and forward-looking in its sonic language.

Tine Hinrichsen (klaver / stemme)
Jesper Frost Bylling(båndløs bas / stemme)
Jens Fri (stemme)
Karen Troldborg (stemme)

Mix og mastering: PrebenRaunsbjerg, Chesham Woods Studio

Francesco Pellegrino (Florence, Italy) is a musician, composer and sound artist whose work explores the relationship between sound, time and consciousness, focusing on electroacoustic composition and improvisation with saxophone, clarinet and self-built electronic instruments.

New release : Elektramusic Berlin - Paul Clouvel presents “Air Residue (Studies in Air and Silence)”, a new album by Iranian sound artist and composer Deniz Tafaghodi.

Air Residue explores air as both material and infrastructure. The album unfolds through two long-form compositions constructed from field recordings of gas meters in Toronto, Halifax, Montreal, Tehran, and Zanjan, alongside air shafts, ventilation systems, and the faint hiss of archival recordings.

By amplifying these often-overlooked sonic traces, Tafaghodi reveals the subtle presence of air as movement, pressure, and resonance — transforming everyday mechanical sounds into immersive electroacoustic textures.

Deniz Tafaghodi, based in Toronto, began her musical training as a classical pianist and studied music at the Art and Architecture University in Tehran before moving toward electroacoustic composition and sound-based practices.

The album is available exclusively via Elektramusic and its Bandcamp page.

« Rust of Reverence » is a multimedia work written for flute, viola, cello, bass clarinet, live electronics, fixed electronics, and video, conceived for quadraphonic diffusion.
The piece explores cultural fragility and the erosion of memory, questioning how traditions survive when they are forced to hide, fragment, or change shape. It draws on Belarusian folk songs and archival instrumental material, used as source material rather than quotation.

Andrew Evdokimov is a composer and sound artist based in Warsaw. His work focuses on electroacoustic and multimedia composition, live electronics, and fixed media.
Hashtag Ensemble is a Warsaw-based contemporary music collective founded in 2013. Organized as a cooperative, the ensemble performs contemporary repertoire, improvisation, and interdisciplinary projects.
