Active Image is proud to launch a partnership with Breuninger, a leading premium fashion & lifestyle retailer in Germany. The partnership offers special access to limited edition digital artwork on the Active Image platform, including a new piece from our ongoing Hans Zimmer Live collection (pictured). The project also promotes the Samsung The Frame TV to collectors of the artwork, for the best viewing experience at home. The partnership runs for 12 months.

Our newest exhibitory showcase at the famed Roman institute the Chiostro del Bramante celebrates the work of Gianmarco Merlini. Merlini, an economist and classical music composer by trade, is the founder of MusicHArt, a digital art project that combines the fluidity and free-motion of music within a visual form, "giv[ing] moments of pleasure in a fast, complex era which leaves no space for moments of reflection.” Several pieces from MusicHArt are available to view at the café at the Chiostro del Bramante on six of our digital canvases.

Active Image is delighted to announce the release of two more animated digital collectibles by Queen photographer Torleif Svensson.

These rare photographs were captured during the 1986, 'The Magic Tour', consisting of 26 shows spanning across Europe. After the final date in Knebworth, Freddie retired from touring forever.

Each of these animated collectibles capture the magic and legendary power that was renowned from every Queen performance.

This stunning artwork of FREDDIE MERCURY on his last tour in 1986 is now available on activeimage.io to buy or to give to others, using our new gift feature.

'Who Wants To Live Forever' was taken at the last ever Queen concert with Freddie Mercury on stage at Knebworth Park, England on August 9th, 1986. On November 24, 1991 he passed away due complications from AIDS.

“On the day of the concert the press photographers had left after 3 songs. I was almost alone in front of the stage 2 hours later. This is when Queen performed the encore “God Save The Queen” and Freddie appeared with the crown and the royal mantle. Only a few photographers in the world have pictures from this moment” - Torleif Svensson

Back in October we partnered up with The Stöckelkeller arts centre to present a celebration of Amsterdam artist

We provided five digital canvases for the exhibition, entitled “Cartoonoscope” that feature playful collages and characters from popular cartoons like The Simpsons, Tom and Jerry, and Sesame Street.

The exhibition is on until December 11th, in the village of Unterschreez near Bayreuth so head out there to enjoy the last week of a unique experience and fantastic exhibition.

This stunning artwork from artist duo LOHNER CARLSON was shot on Signal Hill in Los Angeles during the winter of 1994. It describes the moloch of modern society as it occurs through the mix of natural fog and man-made steam production.

"It is difficult to describe the boundaries between where the factory smoke and the natural aridly of the area produces the haze. In the end result, this image describes the ever-lasting ambiguity or rivalry between man-made circumstance and nature’s rivalry” - Henning Lohner

In partnership with the DFF - DEUTSCHES FILMINSTITUT & FILMMUSEUM, we are thrilled to announce another unique exhibition "Behind the Scenes: Schlöndorff, The Rolling Stones and the Sound of the Sixties" on our platform.

The exhibition features candid behind the scenes shots taken during the making of the documentary "A Degree of Murder" directed by VOLKER SCHLÖNDORFF. These photographs of 60s icons BRIAN JONES, KEITH RICHARDS, ANITA PALLENBERG, and NICOLAS RAY were captured by the british photographer Michael Cooper.
