Digital vs Analog?
http://www.artthesystem.com/2013/11/the-best-short-movie-has-ever-made-102.html
This short animation is about "The Employment". Showing how the world would work as it is in an analog version.
But also concerns the reality we are living. The slavery is not new, but nowadays starts to have a professional title: "Internship". I could give an example seen in cities like Berlin, where most of the job offers are a non paid Internship, or really low budget, that does not help to pay event the rent, or just it.
In former times Internship was not meant to exploit people, but it was meant program to train people. Thus, by the time they finish with their studies they could have a taste of the real world.
Today it seems people have to get infinite internships, like if that is really going to teach them something. It could happen that the interns could have more knowledge than their employees, or at least be on the same level, or even worse, everybody is lost and nobody knows what to do.
Also, nowadays internships are being used as a way to get to know the person ... as an excuse, without the actual plan of further employment.
I don't mean all the companies are like this but yeah some 80% at least?
Lets face it, if a person seems to be a good working and has a personality that fits on the team, that is enough. For learning how we can do something we just need to turn on our devices, then internet and there you go, an amazing digital source of knowledge.
So, my dear ones, if you get to do an internship and is not paid, at least check that you will learn. Learning is another way of earning. Moreover, if you don't learn and you don't get money, don't contribute more to this slavery trade. Be free and change the pattern.
To conclude, this short animated film is the winner of 102 International Awards.
