New week and new release!

We are super happy to share with you "Keep Your Hands Free", the new album by the duo formed by Francesco Guerri on cello and Nicola Guazzaloca on piano.

"Here, the musicians delve deeply into the expressive possibilities of their instruments, leading the listener on a stark, off-trail excursion — a visionary detour in which, beyond the hands, it may be wise to keep the rest unbound as well."

As the subtitle suggests, the album was recorded live in two different settings: by Gianluca Turrini at AngelicA - Festival Internazionale di Musica in Bologna, and by Francesco Guerri at Centro Culturale Mavarta in Reggio Emilia.

“Anche in questo nuovo lavoro torna l'ispirazione del jazz sudafricano, sono diverse le tracce sul disco che fanno eco a quanto abbiamo imparato ad amare attraverso gruppi come i Blue Notes o la Brotherhood of Breath, ma insieme ai groove e all’euforia dei riff c'è tanta apertura e tanta mobilità in questo gruppo che naviga con disinvoltura anche nelle acque più perigliose.” (Antonia Tessitore)

Jacopo Fagioli's "Dialogue" is our new release, and it's Aut Now!

Dialogue is a metaphor for the interaction between the inner life of individuals and society. Through contemporary jazz, the quartet shapes music that brings to life reflections and emotions on the complexities of shared reality and human relationships, exploring the search for harmony between self and world. Each track title reflects a theme I find essential in the world and in people’s lives.
Every piece in this work is a thought, a question, a stance. Take what speaks to you.
