The song comes from the upcoming album "Brandung", out September 5th, 2025 via Lay Bare Recordings.

On September 3rd the album will presented in Berlin, it will be the warmup of the great Berliner Swamp Fest, on stage as well local Metal-Stoner 4-piece in Aptera.

Emerging from the depths of Tokyo’s underground, TŌ YŌ is a bold, future-facing psychedelic quartet blending the spirit of the '70s with the sound of today. Featuring Masami Makino (vocals/guitar), Sebun (guitar), Vincent (bass), and Hibiki Amano (drums/percussion), the band channels the visionary energy of pioneers like Far East Family Band and J.A. Seazer, while absorbing influences from Kikagaku Moyo, Jimi Hendrix, acid folk, tribal rhythms, and the hypnotic pulse of techno.

Their 2023 debut Stray Birds From the Far East is a hazy concept album—dreamy, spiritual, and raw. Recorded in Tokyo with a distinct experimental edge, it features unconventional sound elements like metallic echoes from a tin tub used as percussion, and captures a longing for distant, imagined places.

Makino describes Tō Yō’s music as “sometimes violent, sometimes naïve,” aiming to “awaken primitive senses and sublimate the soul’s impulses.” On stage, their shows are electrifying and immersive—blurring structure and improvisation into something truly ceremonial.

Sharing the bill are LA’s legendary psych voyagers The Warlocks and Germany’s own chaotic mystics Go Mahhh.
