Mastering & Mixing at www.jamesstudio.berlin , www.136Studio.de The Studio provides a warm and inspiring atmosphere. JAMES is focused on Mastering and Mixing.

A mastering studio, geared and optimized for high quality audio mastering and mixing music records. It is located in the Funkhaus, a historical building by the river, that is since the 1950’s hosting some of the finest music productions in Berlin. About me:

I have 20 years of experience in the field of music and audio engineering from Recording, to Mixing, Mastering and producing, working mainly

with individual artists, as well as with large music production companies. (see full list under ‘Discography’)

Before setting up JAMES studio, I was working in the ProAudio software company ‘Waves’, dealing with product management and sound design. Along the audio work, I have also always kept making music, as well as developing tools and interfaces to instigate creativity and maintain a smooth work flow in music production. Hey! and I have been talking about hosting a mixing workshop at . We discussed how to make it interesting for us and for those attending, as well as how to offer something relevant amidst the vast array of „pro-audio advice“ available nowadays.

We thought that a good idea would be to start by asking mixers out there what exactly they are struggling with. The idea is to consider the bigger picture, not just the technical aspects, but also topics like working habits, relationships with clients, time management, and finding your own taste.

So please leave us a comment below so we can create this workshop with your input! We will eventually announce the final format and date of the workshop. Thanks in advance! 🎶🚀
