DKJ is a Berlin-based label, collective, curational platform and event-series to celebrate high quality electronic dance music and support our favorite artists. The art of music has touched the hearts of human beings on the whole planet for thousands of years. It is a universal language that can express something not graspable through words or thought. It can induce strong emotions, alter your sta
te of consciousness and let you experience reality in a different way. It can draw your attention to the present moment - where neither past, nor future exists, but just the music unfolding through time, moment by moment. When you let go and merge into the auditory sensations, it takes you on an inner journey. Using this not to escape, but to fully immerse into reality as it is, music can help us release our tensions and be a balance to our everyday life. Especially dance music allows you to unify with the flow of the music. When you express the energy it releases within you, without thinking about how, but instead by giving up control and following the spontaneous and authentic movements of your body, you can experience a state of inner peace and joy. Doing this collectively, synchronously moving to the same rhythm and sharing this special experience, you feel a connection that resonates within you. Today we can hear the expressions of creative beings in an uncountable variety - listening to sounds from across the globe thanks to the internet. So wherever you are, whoever you are with - eventually it does not matter how you choose to take your journey. With Dit Klingt Jut we want to express this love and passion for music and manifest the meaning it can have for all of us. We intend to do this on the one hand by providing a platform for selected music, and on the other hand by being a source of inspiration and a community both for listeners as well as for artists and other labels.
