While we’re musing on past and future adventures from our homes, it gives me joy to bring you the latest excursion on Night Tide from Melbourne’s Eugene Pascal. “Neutral Density” flits between high impact club work, lofty, cascading escapades and bounding broken beats, taking inspiration from free and prog jazz alongside purer, functional electronic artists his creations are galvanised through process based experimentation and musicality. Out today on all the usual digi platforms, I find them to be an escape in themselves.
