his 'Permeate EP' is still vibrating in our ears - but of course we had to ask for a song to be featured on the latest compilation 🙌🏼

"The track was my own self channelling the spirit of the west coast funk sound. The synth lead line to Junie Morrison (Ohio Players and P-Funk), the talkbox of Roger Troutman and the moog bass from Bernie worrell (P-Funk). The lyric is a nod to George Clinton when he mentioned putting on his sunglasses to see what he’s doing on the track “Mothership Connection”. The end of the track breaks off into an extension with some heart melting chords and talkbox to express my appreciation for the culture behind the music. It’s a reminder to not let what you like distract you from what you love."
