Meet the Outergalactic artist: Major Trouble! 🎵
A fixture of the Bay Area club scene, Major Trouble has been bringing his raw, high-energy take on house music to San Francisco dancefloors for years. His sound is playful, punchy and made for the club — exactly the attitude he brings to his remix of the label’s very first release, “This Is Wild” by Lars Moston, David Keno and Murmur Tooth.
Taking the original’s mischievous DNA, he adds serious muscle and turns it into a full-on rave weapon. A fitting first contribution from an artist right on Outergalactic’s new San Francisco doorstep.

Meet the Outergalactic artist: Thando 🎵
A New York-born producer with South African roots, Thando comes with proper dance-floor credentials: releases on Fool’s Gold, Spinnin’ and Selected, work connected to Duck Sauce and Coco & Breezy, and support from names like Diplo, Claptone, A-Trak, Jamie Jones and Purple Disco Machine. “Making music for me always comes from inspiration,” says Thando. “When I heard the vocal I immediately knew what to do.” And he clearly did: for “Powerlines” he channels all that instinct, pedigree and groove into a real banger of a remix.

Remember that old converted fire station from the movie “The Princess Diaries”? That’s where Couzteau has his studio there days, a strangely perfect setting for a track like “Teardrops”, which flips a 90s classic into something quite magical. He joins forces with Outergalactic Music label heads Murmur Tooth and Lars Moston for an emotional slow-burner balancing intimate songwriting with cinematic electronic production. Get it in your ears!
