In three weeks, I’m becoming a dad for the first time.
And to be honest… it still doesn’t fully feel real.

Most of the time, life just goes on as usual.
Until small moments hit you out of nowhere.

Like hanging tiny clothes to dry…
and suddenly feeling something for someone you haven’t even met yet.

I wanted to capture this moment, right before everything changes.

What to do when you have a burnout? Move to Berlin to create a card game!

burnout forced him to think about what he wanted to do in life. Why work for a fancy job title and retirement? What if you could live like a millionaire without being a millionaire?

Asking himself a lot of what if questions gave Roel the courage to take matters in own hand. He packed his stuff and drove off to Berlin to start all over.

Now, Roel is working on a project he has had pictured in his mind for a long time. With a dream of his comes to life.
