In the UK, one in five new buses registered last month was zero-emission. Uptake rose sharply in Q2, with 616 registrations – a 45.3% increase year-on-year. In the first half of 2025 alone, 1,355 zero-emission buses hit the roads, up 81.6% on the same period in 2024.

47,593 public charging points for electric cars were in operation in Spain at the end of July, almost five per cent more than at the end of 2024. The number of DC chargers with an output between 50 and 250 kW increased by around 70 per cent, while the number of HPC connections with more than 250 kW rose by around 50 per cent.
