The past few months have been very quiet for us on social media—and for good reason. Since October 2025, Studio Eigengrau has been working more or less continuously on the opening of Terminal 3 at Frankfurt Airport.
For us, this was more than an extraordinary project, because you rarely get the opportunity to put together your entire team completely freely. A wonderful collaboration has developed over the past months, which made it possible to realize a project of this scale.
The coming months won’t be any less intense, but we’ve received so much positive feedback on our explanatory posts that we want to continue this path and keep sharing our knowledge and expertise with you.
But first and foremost, this is about saying thank you.

It’s rare for projects of this scale to form such a harmonious team. That’s why we’re all the more grateful to have realized this project for Fraport—and truly thankful for such a team and such a beautiful project.
