Rain always makes me want to curl up, nestle, and create a pleasant and harmonious atmosphere of staying at home that allows me to let go for a moment, go deep inside, nourish the mind and body, and accumulate strength and internal resources.
I see the winter atmosphere as a wonderful opportunity to deepen our relationship with ourselves and those close to us. An opportunity to cradle the body, nurture the psyche, stimulate the consciousness, and enrich self-awareness.
Although the winter weather is a wonderful space to turn inward, I believe that this ability to delve into the psyche, expand the consciousness, and develop self-awareness, is relevant not only to cloudy days, but is essential for processes of growth, development, transformation, and renewal.

Self-awareness and the ability to communicate with ourselves are what allow a person to be aware of the forces operating within, to observe them honestly, to recognize them, to decipher them, and to understand what is required to be done to improve and grow.
The human being is a multi-faceted, diverse, and rich being that is built of layers and layers that make up the entirety that is the self.
Part of this entirety is the psyche, which is also a deep and layered array.
Within the psyche there are many dimensions in which one can get lost, or get to know them and thus know how to navigate within them as well as influence them and manage them consciously.
In the various dimensions within your psyche, you will find thoughts, worldview, values, vision, imagination, innovation, inspiration, ideas, memories, consciousness, subconsciousness, desires, fears, diverse emotions, diverse personality traits, skills, abilities, and more.
Some of the dimensions of the psyche are visible to you and some are still hidden and unknown.
Turning inward into the psyche, allows us to conduct ourselves as conscious and intelligent person and to act as explorers, who go on a journey and gradually draw a map of the psyche.
This process of turning inward and dealing with the self is wonderful, important, and essential to a life of constant growth - but when it gets out of balance it can lead to the opposite results. Therefore, like everything in life, it is important to find the balance between the attention directed to the self and the inner space, and the attention to the world with which we interact.
Don't be mistaken: dealing with the self and turning inward, are a means of improving our mutual relations with ourselves but also with the world that exists outside of us. This is to weave living relationships that include mutual enrichment, attention, reciprocity, growth, and abundance.
Use your ability to delve into your inner self, to learn to separate your distilled and abstract self from the psyche.
This separation will give you great clarity, objectivity, and the ability to maintain an honest and balanced self-assessment that helps you grow and improve in your relationships with yourself and the world.
Turning inward allows you to know: what motivates you, what strengthens you, what weakens you, what are your advantages, and what are your disadvantages. Therefore, it will allow you to perfect and improve your ability to use your psyche as a tool of expression for your distilled self, in the best way.
So... make yourself a warm and pampering cup of tea or a steaming and stimulating coffee, and sit with yourself, even for a few moments, and create this convergence...
Have a warm and pleasant weekend
