We are honoured to be invited to Summer Barbecue hosted by the U.S Embassy and the Foreign Agricultural Service!
It was a huge opportunity to get together, meet the American community and taste delicious U.S products such as California walnuts, Alaskan salmon, New York wines and cocktails made by Gin and whiskey from Maine & more…

The grill was the biggest surprise with the yummiest U.S Wagyu Beef Brisket, North Carolina sweet potatoes fries, BBQ sauces, grilled corn & and salad with U.S Cranberries!

The event took place at the beautiful backyard of the residence of the Agricultural Counsellor! The Thanksgiving dinner & the Summer BBQ was one of kind experiences I’ve had the last year!

Better late than never! Finally Here is one of my fav recipe with asparagus (green asparagus from Europe and especially from Greece)! 💚

Asparagus are one my favorite vegetables, these nutrient-packed greens not only add flavor but also provide essential nutrients for a heathier lifestyle! They can be easily added to our diet since they can be cooked in many different simple ways. More info on my website: check below!

𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐤 𝐏𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐬 🫓
Perfect for Easter Meal! 🐣

If you gather with Greek people these days or if you celebrate Orthodox Easter, you have to make these delicious Pitas!
My favourite Pita bread recipe is here for you, perfect for every celebration and especially for Easter lunch & dinner!

Ingredients:
320 ml lukewarm vegan milk
160ml lukewarm water
10g fresh yeast
1 tbsp sugar
2-3 tbsps olive oil
640g flour for bread (Type 550)
1 tsp salt
1 tsp powdered anise
2 tbsps Thyme by

Olive oil for frying

Instructions:
1. In a small bowl, place the vegan milk, water, yeast, sugar and olive oil and let it increase for some minutes.
2. In an another large bowl add together the remaining ingredients: flour, salt, anise and thyme.
3. When the first mixture is double in size, place it into the mixture with flour and mix well until become a soft, shiny, non sticky dough.
4. Then, cover the dough with a clean kitchen towel and leave to rest from 30 mins until 1 hour, glaze the dough with olive oil.
5. Heat up with olive oil a non-stick pan at medium temperature. Then open the pitas with your hands or with a wooden pin and fry them for 2-3 mins on both sides. You will have about 12 pitas! Enjoy!
6. Serve with extra olive oil thyme and tzatziki! The best side for your Easter lamb and Greek salat!
