Last week Friday Kitty Solaris and I played the last gig of our tour, in lovely Laubach. It was a sweet ending to my most extensive and fun tour to date. Sharing the journey and the stage is just more enjoyable. So, thanks, Kitty, for doing this with me!
Thank you also to everyone who booked and hosted, did the sound, came to the gigs, bought merch and had a chat. And to our presenters: ByteFM, Sounds & Books, Gaesteliste.de & .
These past four weeks were also pretty intense: lots of travel, lots of "schlepping", little sleep, drinking wine, eating too much bread and not enough vitamins...
And quite a lot happened while I was away.
Another dear relative died. My neighbours and flatmate raised hell to save our building from - yet another - private investor. Jeffrey Lewis, The Burning Hell and Patrick Wolf played shows in Berlin, which I had to miss.
Keeping up with work, keeping up with the news and the heartbreaking/maddening situation in the Middle East...
"And the world stops turning", Kitty sings. But of course it doesn't.
That's also why it might take me a few more days to sift through all the photos and videos to do a visual recap of this tour.
