If he ever returns to the United States, the first thing he’ll ask at the airport is: “which way to Albuquerque?” - the city where his mysterious favorite person moved. With his new single, he is tall. tries to close the book on a transformative time across the Atlantic and move on. Does he succeed?

Hello everybody!

Adam Harpaz has dropped the new song „You Might Miss Out“ today! ➡️

„‚You Might Miss Out‘ carves a sonic space of self-reflection for the listener; how are we feeling (generally) in our day-to-day? Are we truly connecting with both ourselves and others more often than not? Is there a sustainable sense of harmony between the different components of our lives? Do we have enough mental clarity to deal with the inevitable unforeseen challenges that arise in life, or are we in such a constant state of internal/external pressure that we get spun out when things alter from the ‘plan’?

The song offers a somewhat subtle, somewhat blunt commentary on the work-life balance conundrum alluded to above; perhaps the sweet spot is found within that juggling act of keeping the wheels in motion whilst still carving enough space to consistently do the things that bring us joy.   The hope is that by consciously making our overall well-being more of a priority, it enables us to find/maintain a relatively stable level of presence and content. “ - Adam Harpaz

Hoping for a few more moments together before life pulled you down different paths. It’s about wishing you could go back and silence your inner demons before they took hold. Hoping for forgiveness for the stupid mistakes you’ve made, hoping for the chance to rewind - now that you know how amazing it all actually was. Is there a chance to start over? To rewind, just one more time? Is there a second chance? Is there an encore?

„Last summer I was visiting a friend in the south of Germany. On the very first evening, we started improvising together — the only thing we knew beforehand was that I had this impulse to sing a song for falling asleep. I asked myself: “What would I want to hear as I’m falling asleep?” And three minutes later... there it was: ‘Goodnight’.I’ve kept this recorded version very raw, near and “organic” as if it is sung directly as a lullaby for the listener.“ - Victoria Akua
