Art Bei Ton

Art Bei Ton is an artistic project focusing on merging electronic music and visual arts, through the promotion of events, podcast series, and a label. Organizing events in Berlin and Europe, our goal is to create some immersive experiences, offering Hypnotic Techno/Ambient DJ sets and live acts, together with VJing, art exhibition, interactive audio-visual installations, performances,

panels and workshops.  

Curating international artists, we want to embrace more inclusivity in the scene through the promotion of diverse and gender-balanced line ups. It is important for us to highlight female artists, q***r actors of our community and fight together against all kinds of discrimination. 

Since its creation in 2018, Art Bei Ton took place in various great venues. Starting in Berlin at notorious clubs, such as Griessmühle, ://About Blank or Su***de Circus, we also organized some events abroad, like in Paris at La Station, in Istanbul at Temple, in Amsterdam at Red Light Radio, or in Poland at Schron. 
Through those various events, we were very happy to collaborate with great artists, such as Dasha Rush, Electric Indigo, Luigi Tozzi, Claudio PRC, Blazej Malinowski, Joachim Spieth, Aleja Sanchez, Paula Koski, Mary Yuzovskaya, and many more.

Berlin-based artist Igadi crafts immersive soundscapes shaped by a deep sense of rhythm. He first started playing during university, but it was while living in Australia and developing his format through extended sets that his style truly took form. These experiences taught him to explore the balance between structure and unpredictability.

With an organic, intuitive mixing style, Igadi focuses on guiding the energy of the room. His philosophy reflects a belief that music should inspire engagement. Each set and production aims to create space for deep listening while keeping things moving.

Adaptable across contexts, Igadi moves between high-intensity moments and deep introspection, always maintaining a flow.

For the past 7 years, HBM has been running the event series, podcast and label Art Bei Ton and we're now celebrating our 7th Anniversary through this set!

For this 2 hours podcast, she re-recorded one of her favourite set from a very special place, where recording were not possible -- never can be as good as the original one with that magic energy of the public and the place, but the vibe is here!

Evolving between hypnotic, deep and psychedelic sounds, HBM is taking us on an uplifting trippy journey, exploring different sonic landscapes from spacial sounds to euphoric tunes. Great set to listen getting ready for the weekend ~

Hypnotic Black Magic is a Berlin and Lisbon-based DJ and producer, renowned for her trippy and uplifting sets that take audiences on euphoric journeys.
She is also the head behind the well-established label and event series Art Bei Ton, shaping since 2018 her vision of the scene through hypnotic sounds, psychedelic visuals and gender-balanced line ups.

Inspired by nostalgic and avant-garde electronic sounds since her early teenage years, HBM has developed her music taste around hypnotic techno, atmospheric ambient, psychedelic sounds and IDM/tribe. Collecting tracks with a preference for loopy patterns, dreamy pads, groovy rhythms, and trancey basslines, HBM’s goal is to drive the audience through a cathartic journey -

On the production side, Hypnotic Black Magic released her EP ‘Passages’ on Art Bei ton in Feb 2025, as well as some tracks on some VAs. She's currently working on her first album, planned for March 2026!

Nælida, whose real name is Daniela, lives in Berlin and has been dancing since the late 1990s. She has followed the development of electronic music with great passion over the years. Always attracted to innovative sounds, she saw herself as a music consumer out of deep conviction. It was not unusual for her to travel to another country just to see one artist.

When she immersed herself in Berlin's downtempo sound and realized that she could combine all kinds of electronic and analog music, she also developed a desire to express herself through mixing music in 2017.

Under a diLerent name, she embarked on a musical journey through various genres and gained international experience. During this period of growth and self-discovery, she clearly remembers the moment in 2020 when she first consciously and intensely encountered hypnotic techno. This magical moment created a connection to music that took her life to a whole new level. Since then, she has been intuitively exploring the wide field of hypnotic sounds and loves it when a single track opens the door to a new dimension.

Even though the music scene is not her main profession, her passion knows almost no bounds and has led her to organize a festival in Montenegro in the past.

With her current sets, she loves to tell stories and enjoys taking her listeners on an atmospheric journey. Stylistically, she moves between ambient-based experimental, sometimes minimalist sounds and organic, hypnotically driving peak-time techno.

Inerte, aka Ricardo Afonso, is a Portuguese-born and based artist who began his musical journey in 2010. His work is deeply inspired by hypnotic energy, breaks, textures and atmospheric soundscapes.

Art Bei Ton is an event series promoting events in Berlin and Europe. This artistic project is aimed to offer some immersive experiences between electronic music and visual arts.
