For MNMT 297, Hierarchy constructs obscure textures and deep atmospheres for a methodical approach to techno’s darker corners.

Created in 2019 to explore wider interests within techno subgenres, Hierarchy is an alternate moniker for the acclaimed artist “A Sacred Geometry” (ASG). While remaining separate in the past, Hierarchy adopts the current alias full-time, leaving A Sacred Geometry as the imprint of the record label.

some of you may know that in the last time I started to make and release music under the moniker Hierarchy. I feel this is the moment to completely switch to this new project.
A Sacred Geometry will go on as label, hosting music from me and other producers and pushing forward as did since 2015.

As we gradually transition between the spring equinox and summer solstice, we couldn’t think of a more perfect mix to represent the transformation and our earth’s energies being at their strongest and most active. Podcast 111 (a number also symbolising awakening, enlightenment, high energy and inspiration) comes to you from A Sacred Geometry who, through his music, “creates a nostalgic ambient reality redolent of space and texture” - a source of much of our inspiration over recent years.

Listening to this beauty is like an invigorating breath of fresh air, re-rooting you to the earth, and re-connecting you with Mother Nature's innate beauty and magnificence, while reminding us that in essence, we are in fact one and the same with her.

For us, this mix is what the earth sounds like - sun rise and sun set, and the serenity, hope, sense of newness, and letting go, that come with both.

A Sacred Geometry manages to convey these feelings not only through his mixes, but his productions too. In fact, Sædís (2016) was a pivotal moment in our musical journey for this very reason, the effect being exactly the same sense of connection to something so much bigger than us, and it was from that moment on that we’ve followed his journey and taken inspiration and comfort from his creative outputs.
