Silvia S13: Refers to the Japanese coupe (notchback) model with fixed, rectangular headlights. (The hatchback version with pop-up headlights in Japan is called the 180SX).

240SX: Refers to the North American market version. It was offered in both a fastback (hatchback) style (matching the JDM 180SX) and a coupe style (matching the Silvia).
