is a protean artist born in South Korea, raised in France and based in Paris. With a circus, dance & acting background, he collaborates with different artists in the performing arts fields since 2009. His first solo ‘RUINE’ went on tour (2019-2024), and performed a short version of it
‘Envers Amour’ at La Station Gare des Mines, Paris in september 2020.
In april 2020, invited by the label MMODEMM and Theater Mousonturm in Francfort, he created the first version of ‘Inverted Méditation - Die Sicht der Wirbel’ a 40 minutes inverted musical act, on head-balanced or handstand and the second version had been presented at Le Tony on the 6th june ’24 in Paris. Under his moniker HA KYOON, he is on tour with a punk electronique live act, with
machines, a trigged snare, synths and a voice. He played in venues such as La Station Gare des Mines (Paris), Urban Spree, An(8)x core (Berlin), VOLNOST (Seoul), SYSTEM (Shanghai), Beijing, Arcan (Saïgon), Cafe Central and La Vallée (Brussels), Hamburg, Rokolectiv (Romania), Jakarta, Bandung, and more.
The choreographer Lavinia Vago invited him to compose and perform in her show
FKK in Seattle in April 2024.
As part of SHAPE+ platform 24’25’, he’s working on a new performance ‘The
Shoulder Blades or, Shields of the Heart’.

official.roma is a roman event and label company based on harder beats. We are happy to premiere track from their first VA release. Lady Maru is a roman now Berlin based electronic producer and post punk musician.
she became active as a noise guitarist for post punk and no wave bands. Her dj career started some years later djing in clubs and underground raves, always trying to combine 2 influences: art punk and techno. Her actual sound as a producer and as a dj is mostly based on dirty fast techno with acid , industrial , sometimes tribe and hardcore influences and she is known for her dynamic, high energetic sets . She is a regular resident at Cieloterra in Rome where she hosts a monthly event for faster and harder sounds.

IOD PREMIERE #043 // YUMEO - HYBRISTOPHILIA

, a musician who explores the hidden pleasures of industrial music, is set to release his album “Wild Tale” on June 7th through , a label known for its support of artists with a stoic aesthetic. The album artwork was created by Helo from Turkey.

“Wild Tale,” which literally means “dream story,” is a 10-track album that encapsulates the dream of a virtual world enhanced by technology. With a theme of “soundtrack for a fictional science fiction work,” the album features a raw yet futuristic soundscape, unified by its floor-like beats.

The album includes remixes by Mick Harris, former drummer of Na**lm Death and a pioneer of industrial techno and Birmingham techno under the name Fret, and Katran, a member of the Serbian post-industrial techno unit ONTAL. Throughout the album, hypnotic euphoria surfaces, and the intense machine beats transcend mere hard sound to skillfully embody the paradox of “mechanical physicality.”

From industrial sounds like noise and EBM to kitschy pop, this album is a concentrated showcase of Yumeo’s boundless curiosity.

IOD PREMIERE #040// SLAVE TO SOCIETY - AI INVASION

(ex AnD) returns to with a white-hot experimental techno EP, accompanied by an IDM-infused remix from industrial electronica duo; Somatic Responses.
‘Ai Invasion’ is a sonic exploration of the symbiotic relationship between humanity and technology. Slave To Society uses carefully designed futuristic soundscapes and atmospheric textures, layered with AI generated vocals, combined with heavy and fiercely unpredictable drum elements. Expect advanced, experimental hard techno and noise, fused with powerful low-end muscle, raging hi-hats, fragmented percussion and augmented amens. In true Slave To Society fashion, all rules and boundaries are smashed to pieces and all tracks are equally suitable for blasting through the world’s biggest club systems and rigs as they are for home listening.
