The Famous Gold Watch is a recording, production, mixing, mastering, co-writing and visuals studio in Berlin, founded by Universal Music Publishing composer and artist Cameron James Laing. The boutique recording studio is equipped with the highest quality analogue and digital technology to bring your records to life at the top level, but for a fraction of the price of a typical studio and our team

of Producers and engineers can help you arrange and develop your work when desired. Our wide array of uniquely designed rooms make us a popular and specialist force for live music videos, photography and music video shoots. The feel of the studio is important for album recording too...we believe an artist should have a warm and cosy atmosphere to work in - as if it was their own strange little creative home - and we've gone to painstaking detail to provide the perfect aesthetic, service, equipment and instruments for musicians to enjoy the recording process and deliver the performances, as well as the quality, the songs deserve. It's an artist run collective, therefore daily rates are as affordable as can be found in Berlin, and the working days are longer than your average too so you don't feel overwhelmed and pressured to knock our your songs before dinnertime.
