One step closer to my Indian visa 🇮🇳✨

This wasn’t exactly how I pictured spending the last few months, but looking back, I’m really grateful for this time at home. ❤️

There ended up being so much going on with the house that needed my attention, so being back in the States actually came at the right time. Somewhere between handling all the not-so-fun adult stuff, I’ve gotten to spend time with friends and family, and really enjoy being home. 🥹

After almost 3 months apart from my husband and 5-year-old daughter, we’re finally getting closer to being reunited as a family. ❤️ If everything goes as planned, in just a couple more weeks I’ll be back with them in Chennai. 🇮🇳✨

As much as I’ve enjoyed this time at home, I’m definitely ready to have my little family back together again. ❤️

A little look around my yard and garden. 🌿🌸 A HUGE thank you to Jon Crawley for keeping my grass cut, the edging crisp, and everything looking so clean, fresh, and beautiful while I’m living in India. It’s such a good feeling to come home and see my yard looking this well cared for!

And of course, thank you to Chris for keeping my flower beds cleaned up and looking beautiful, too. I truly couldn’t keep everything looking this good from so far away without you both! ❤️

My elephant ears are absolutely HUGE this year and I can’t get over how beautiful everything looks! 🌿💚

Living in India means I have to trust someone else to love on my yard while I’m away, and my sweet friend Chris has done such an amazing job taking care of everything for me. All the rain Nashville has been getting definitely helped too! Apparently, my elephant ears decided to take full advantage of it! 😂🌧️🌿

Being home and dealing with all the visa stuff has been a little overwhelming, so it’s been really nice to spend some time tinkering around in the garden and enjoying the yard. There’s something so peaceful about getting your hands dirty and seeing everything thriving.

I’m just really proud of my little piece of home right now. 🏡💚 And Chris, thank you for keeping it so beautiful while I’m on the other side of the world. Clearly, you and Mother Nature make a pretty good team! 😂🌿
