Omg been a long time haven’t opened this page!😅😂 and now since i opened it, i’m opening it as a Mrs. Annventurous now!😇💍🎊 yes, been really busy for wedding preparations and document processes even though our wedding is very simple and intimate 💍
We opt to have very simple but intimate wedding where only our loveones and both of us are there. No extravagant reception and ceremonies. (No criticism to those who chose to celebrate their wedding in traditional way or extravagant way. Like what Zeinab says, "Your Wedding, your Rules!" 🫶
Sharing you some facts about our wedding that deviates from a traditional way:
📍Civil ceremony in France 🇫🇷 ~ A mayor of the city officiated our wedding, took 10~ 15 minutes, signing of papers, and we’re officially married.💍 Ceremony Language is ofcourse in French🇫🇷
📍Reception was followed in a Restaurant Comptoir de Malt ~ we booked a table in a good restau, and everyone can choose their own menu of choice, from appetizer to dessert 🥰 in this way guest have their own preference for food (vegetarian, meat lover etc), same with the drinks, some opt for wine, cocktails, beers or whiskey or even just a simple juice drinks 🍸
📍After restau~ we continue the mini celebration at home we’re we got a bit of French pastries and sharing drinks 🍸 Gift opening and giving marriage wishes to us ♥️ also chitchats and bonding since we are not seeing the family so often🫶
📍Guests ~ only close families from both sides
Wedding Witnesses : both our moms 👩🏾♥️
📍Wedding rings ~ we chose a simple design with different materials used (he preferred a bit darker color palette for his ring and i chose a bit lighter palette) for both of us but we let it be personalised. Thanks for letting us personalise it plus giving us advises on how to choose for the ring. 🫶💍
📍Wedding invitation ~ we send them first as digital (sinMonfaireparties live away from us). Monfairepart customised it and design it as we wished with Monfairepart 💌
📍Wedding souvenirs ~ we just ordered online an already customised mini souvenirs and just added a personal touch by handwriting the names of our guests on each souvenirs 💝
📍Wedding Bouquet ~ my mom in law have the personalised bouquet in a flower shop wherein she chose my favorite color and flower🌹 (lucky to have sweet, kind and thoughtful mom in law 💝 btw)
📍Hair and Make Up ~ just checked online for inspo then did my own make up. With my hair, my mom did it for me! (She’s always been doing my hair since I was a child whenever I have school programs or occassions 💝😌)
📍Wedding Dress/Shoes ~ bought online, let it bit of customisation for my size (got it from ) , not expensive one 👰♀️👠
📍Wedding Photography/Videography ~ we tried to search online for photographers but unfortunately is too much expensive since wedding is in France and not in Germany. Good thing we have Adelaine Lorestoobby is photography Adelaine Loresto . And there she is, who would have known, our pictures are really great and awesome! Plus no awkwardness during the shoot since we know her (thanks Adelaine Loresto !♥️)
📍Wedding Photoshoot ~ since France is famous for wonderful Chateaux (Castles), we took opportunity to held our photoshoot there! (Lucky that’s also nearby our Wedding place!💝 and a plus because it’s considered a UNESCO Heritage!💝. And since I love Disney and Disney Princesses so much, my husband fulfilled my dream to be like Princess myself!Château de Pierrefondstheir website Château de Pierrefonds and they allowed us (no worries we didn’t spend too much here!) Aside from photography shoot we’re able to enjoy as well the museum and tour inside the Castle which served us double purpose🫶🥰 Thank you Château de Pierrefonds (esp Ms. Deblois and your friendly staff) for letting us have a very magnificent wedding photo souvenirs💝
For those asking, yes we booked and asked first if we’re allowed to take photos there (since it’s a National Monument). For those who like to also do it, you can always check on their websites!🫶
