First visit to Bulgaria 🇧🇬

Crowded beaches and annoying "paid" areas notwithstanding, the friendly people and lovely hotels made it a wonderful one week at Golden Sands, Varna. 🏖️

You have to leave, but you take with you, a favorite snack. Something to let the of this linger a little longer. You wait until the jet lag has passed, and the monster of rears its inevitable head. You unpack it lovingly - this creation that was moulded in another land, held by foreign hands. And you take a bite - full of hunger and - in equal parts for the taste and the . One bite follows another, and another, until it's all gone. And now the taste of another land lives in you, swallowed whole, like a crazy you simply refuse to let go of.

Food in is a by itself, pleasing in its variety and always bursting with flavor and freshness. From khinkali to jhonjoli to kachapuri to khoncha, every single bite is a fond memory. 💖
