Very proud to present my latest studio production, Nadia Birkenstock's album "A Light So Bright" with a collection of traditional Irish, English, French and German Christmas carols as well as some of her original compositions.
It was an absolute privilege to work with her on this project, and we threw everything onto it with maximum intensity and attention to detail, so that her harp playing, her marvellous voice, and the guest musicians are all conveyed in their best fidelity.

Currently recording stereo projects, but there is much more to discover…!

The binaural recording technique builds on the principle of placing microphones on a human’s head - or an artificial head.

The microphones' position is either just outside each ear canal or at the bottom of the ear canal close to the eardrum.

When you reproduce the recording and listen with headphones, the image is very much similar to “being there”.

This article explains using a binaural headset (instead of an artificial head solution), so the binaural sound recording takes place at the entrance of the ear canal of a real person.
