There's something truly magical about watching a ferry boat leaving the Friedrichshafen Port against the stunning backdrop of the Swiss and Austrian alps. As I stand here taking in the view, I'm struck by the incredible beauty of the landscape and the sense of peacefulness that washes over me.

The “Burg Eltz” which translates to castle Eltz is is a 12th century hilltop castle and one of the best known of its kind in Germany. It is located on an elevation in the valley of the Elz, a left tributary of the Moselle, in the district of the local municipality of Wierschem in Rhineland-Pfalz. Owned by the noble Eltz family for more than 800 years, the structure has been largely preserved. Like Bürresheim Castle and Lissingen Castle, it is one of the fortifications in the German Eifel that were never forcibly conquered.
