Als Kollektiv, Label und Veranstalter ist Serotonin Music (eh. Serotonin) seit 2020 in Köln präsent. Gegründet durch Niclas Engelken und Andrej Kovgan, steht das Projekt von Beginn an für stetige Weiterentwicklung, musikalische Vielfalt und liebevolle Menschen in Teamarbeit, die elektronische Musik als höchste Form der Kunst verstehen. Im Rahmen des eigenen Musiklabels, schafft Ser

otonin Music einen inspirierenden Raum, in dem Künstler ihre Musik und Persönlichkeit auf authentische Weise präsentieren können. Dabei bieten die zweiwöchigen Podcasts nicht nur eine Bühne für talentierte Musiker, sondern ermöglichen es den Zuhörern auch, die Menschen hinter der Kunst zu entdecken und ihre Geschichten kennenzulernen. Nach zahlreichen Veranstaltungen (v. Klub Domhof, Helios), sowohl als Veranstalter, als auch als Host, konzentrierte sich die gemeinsame Arbeit zuletzt auf den Ausbau und die Spezialisierung von Label und Podcast-Reihe. Die Philosophie von Serotonin Music besteht im Anspruch, Besuchern und Hörern gleichermaßen ein intensives Erlebnis zu bieten: So ist jedes Release für sich eine Einladung, neue musikalische Horizonte zu erkunden und gemeinsam mit Gleichgesinnten die Vielfalt der elektronischen Musik zu feiern. Den gleichen Geist verfolgen auch die Veranstaltungen, die Serotonin Music für 2025 fest eingeplant hat, um Menschen eine gute Zeit zu schenken und sie einzuladen, sich der Musik voll und ganz hinzugeben. As a collective, label and organizer, Serotonin Music (formerly Serotonin) has been present in Cologne since 2020. Founded by Niclas Engelken and Andrej Kovgan, the project has stood for constant development, musical diversity and lovely people in teamwork who recognize electronic music as the highest form of art. As part of its own music label, Serotonin Music creates an inspiring space in which artists can present their music and personality in an authentic way. The two-week podcasts not only provide a stage for talented musicians, but also enable listeners to discover the people behind the art and get to know their stories. After numerous events (especially Klub Domhof, Helios), both as an organizer and as a host, the joint work recently focused on expanding and specializing the label and podcast series. The philosophy of Serotonin Music is to offer visitors and listeners alike an intensive experience: every release is an invitation to explore new musical horizons and celebrate the diversity of electronic music together with like-minded people. The same spirit is also pursued by the events that Serotonin Music has planned for 2025 to give people a good time and invite them to fully devote themselves to music.

Verschallt has been connected to music his entire life. In the past, it was the guitar; today, it’s synthesizers and drum machines. Techno grabbed him early on and hasn’t let go for several years now. In his own productions, various influences come together and form a clear, deep sound ranging from minimal and dark to psytechno.
He is part of the Botanical Beats collective, which creates spaces for people to come together and feel comfortable at its events. For Serotonin, he has put together a mix of his own releases on Subios, Vision Serpent, Music4Aliens and unreleased tracks. Enjoy the Pottcast from Bochum!

Verschallt ist schon sein Leben lang mit Musik verbunden. Früher war es die Gitarre, heute sind es Synthesizer und Drum Machines. Techno hat ihn früh gepackt und seit einigen Jahren nicht mehr losgelassen. In seinen eigenen Produktionen treffen verschiedene Einflüsse aufeinander und formen einen klaren, tiefen Sound von Minimal, Dark bis Psytechno.
Er ist Teil vom Kollektiv Botanical Beats, das mit seinen Veranstaltungen Räume für ein Miteinander schafft, in denen sich alle wohlfühlen können. Für Serotonin hat er einen Mix aus eigenen Releases bei Subios, Vision Serpent, Music4Aliens und unveröffentlichten Tracks zusammengeschallt. Viel Spaß bei dem Pottcast aus Bochum!

David Bütow aka David Brixx, born in beautiful Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, only started making music in 2011. He got into it by chance through his friend. At first he just played for fun at home, but later he was driven to continue as he didn’t know what kind of music he should make. A lot of time passed before he found the minimal genre. During this time, he had two small gigs. Slowly but surely, he felt the urge to try something else. But one day he found an amazing genre and he knew it from the very first second. David discovered minimal/techno with dark influences, where he has remained to this day.

David Bütow alias David Brixx, geboren im schönen Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, begann erst 2011 mit dem Musik machen. Er kam durch Zufall durch einen Freund dazu. Anfangs spielte er nur zum Spaß zu Hause, doch später trieb ihn der Wunsch an, weiterzumachen, da er nicht wusste, welche Art von Musik er machen sollte. Es verging viel Zeit, bis er das Minimal-Genre für sich entdeckte. In dieser Zeit hatte er zwei kleinere Auftritte. Langsam aber sicher spürte er den Drang, etwas Neues auszuprobieren. Doch eines Tages stieß er auf ein faszinierendes Genre, das ihn vom ersten Moment an begeisterte. David entdeckte Minimal/Techno mit düsteren Einflüssen, dem er bis heute treu geblieben ist.

He is characterized by his unique style, powerful bass, punchy beats, and Zenon-inspired percussive rhythms. First public show was in 2010 one of the middle school aprox. 300 people got fewer from his music.
After that amazing party was the begining. Next stage is the PUB and smaller Dance Clubs with TECH HOUSE, TECHNO.
His exemplar: Richie Hawtin, Joris Voorn, Paul Kalkbrenner, DubFire. Deep Junior hi was really lucky to play on the same place then them . After hi decided hi gonna be a DJ.
Hi was very brave and hi got an opportunity to play at Club Spaten Erd with Bukor Daniel`s organization.

I am Angelique, 28 years old and was born in the vibrant capital of Berlin. My passion for techno was ignited in the Sisyphos Club, where I first immersed myself in the world of peak-time techno. Since 2021 I have developed a special devotion to peak-time techno and this style has shaped my sets ever since. I play driving tracks that develop into powerful and energetic sounds and thus carry the listeners away. All my enthusiasm and inspiration is reflected in all my mixes. I love taking my listeners on a musical journey that immerses them in the world of Peak Time Techno.

My biggest goal is to convey emotions through my music and to establish a connection between people.

Ich bin Angelique, 28 Jahre alt und wurde in der pulsierenden Hauptstadt Berlin geboren. Meine Leidenschaft für Techno wurde im Club Sisyphos entfacht, wo ich erstmals in die Welt des Peak-Time-Techno eintauchte.
