Sendecki & Spiegel – Simple Game

Two musicians, one intimate dialogue: Polish-born pianist Vladyslav Sendecki and Hamburg-based drummer Jürgen Spiegel return with their third duo album, Simple Game.

Blending contemporary jazz with timeless classics from jazz and pop, the album brings together eight original compositions and reinterpretations, creating a dynamic yet deeply personal musical conversation.

From Sendecki’s title track “Simple Game” and the concert favorite “Friendly Garden” to fresh takes on “Come Together” and “Everything Must Change”, every piece reveals the duo’s remarkable chemistry.

Sendecki, a longtime member of the NDR Bigband who has performed with legends including Klaus Doldinger, Billy Cobham and the Brecker Brothers, meets Spiegel, known worldwide as the drummer of the Tingvall Trio.

Together, they create music that is both sophisticated and immediate, rooted in jazz while remaining open to the wider musical world. 🎶

On Legacy Dances, four-time GRAMMY®-nominated vibraphonist and composer Stefon HarrisHarris brings his groundbreaking ensemble into a new chapter, blending contemporary jazz with hip-hop, funk, fusion, R&B, and electronic textures. The result is energetic, fearless, and deeply rooted in the idea of jazz as “empathy in action.”
The album also serves as a heartfelt tribute to Casey Benjamin, Blackout founding member and Harris’ close friend, whose visionary approach to saxophone, electronics, and sound shaped the band’s identity. A fantastic achievement: Dominique Fils-Aimé has entered the German Jazz Charts for July at No. 8 as a new entry with her album “My World Is the Sun”! ☀️🎶

Her world tour is now coming to an end, with three final dates in Germany before she heads back to Canada.
