Filmmaker | Videoproducer | Media Artist Pipo Tafel (1979, Stuttgart, Germany) is a cross-media director and producer. Pipo is based in Köln, Germany.

Artistic projects and commissioned works with artists, creatives, cultural organisations and artist management Maison Musitowski have brought him to work in many different places and contexts

in Australia, Europe and North America. His interdisciplinary artistic works created in collaboration with poets, media artists, painters, filmmakers, dancers, choreographers, performers, stylists or composers have been awarded with numerous grants and art prices such as Walter Fink Award of Dance, Electroacoustic Music and Dance of ZKM Karlsruhe or Arts Price of Baden-Württemberg Foundation for Film / New Media. Multimedia installations and dance related video and performance works have been shown in festivals in Europe, South- and North America and Asia. References are organisations and artists such as Ken Ludden, ULAY, ZKM Karlsruhe, University of Arts and Design Karlsruhe, Folkwang University, Ballet de Marseille, Neues Museum Weimar, Charleroi Danses, William Forsythe, Wayne McGregor, Isaac Julien, Palucca University for Dance Dresden, tanzhaus nrw Düsseldorf, Thierry De Mey, Margot Fonteyn Academy of Ballet, tanzhaus nrw düsseldorf, Berliner Festspiele, Neues Museum Weimar, temps d’images Festival, Leandro Kees, Maison Musitowski, Oscar Loeser, Thomas Crecelius, Sadler’s Wells (to name a few). The Media Arts cm laude of the Karlsruhe University of Arts and Design (2012) completed his contemporary dance studies at Folkwang University Essen of the Arts (2001-2005) and the D.A.N.C.E. program under artistic direction of Angelin Preljocaj, Frédéric Flamand, William Forsythe and Wayne McGregor in France and Belgium and as a guest student at the Palucca University of Dance Dresden (2005 - 2007)

VERSTÄRKUNG - BILDBEARBEITUNG ALS WAHRNEHMUNGSVERSTÄRKENDES MEDIUM DIE INTENSITÄT TRANSPORTIEREND/ INNEHABEND

Kann es sein, dass es zum Leuchten erst durch Korrektur der Helligkeitswerte kommt -
Und eben nicht das Foto richtig belichtet ist, sondern die fehlende Fähigkeit, die tiefdunkle blau Farbe durch Postproduktion kommt/

so sah sich nämlich tatsächlich der magic Blue Moment an aus meiner Sicht in diesem Moment

The rotation of the earth and its course around the sun make the light re-appear here (where the picture is taken). Mysterious thing, light, once you start thinking about it and our concept of it.
