One thing I learned years caring for my Special needs kids , good food / nutrition plays a big role in their improvement .
I believe we should focus more giving our kids healthy food than medication
Red meat, beans and spinach are rich with BVitamins.

Booking a hotel is never just about how beautiful the room is. I have to check: Is there wheelchair access? A lift? An accessible, spacious bathroom?

Because for us, accessibility is not a luxury — it’s a necessity.

Sometimes hotels say they’re accessible online, only for you to arrive and discover otherwise. And with limited accessible options, you may even have to pay more.

So I’m incredibly grateful to God that my Manchester hotel for the NSPPD conference was truly accessible! 🙌🏽🥹

The spacious disabled toilet, the room, the accessibility — everything gave me comfort, dignity and peace of mind. ❤️

If you’re travelling with a wheelchair user, always confirm accessibility before booking. What is accessible to one person may not work for your child.

People see a child sleeping peacefully in their wheelchair.
They don't see everything it took to get to this quiet moment.
When your child can't simply get up and walk around, waiting at an airport takes a different kind of patience. The noise, the waiting, the people, the constant movement... it can be overwhelming.
You find ways to keep them comfortable, calm, and settled - while carrying your own exhaustion quietly.
And then... they fall asleep.
I look down at my little one sleeping peacefully, and for a moment, everything feels still.
It's not always easy.
But I'd do every airport, every wait, every journey all over again.
One journey at a time.
