Woher kommt das große Interesse für Grönland? Warum will Donald Trump dieses Land haben?

Während der Dreharbeiten zu Die Arktis reiste colourFIELD mehrfach nach Grönland, unter anderem zu einer alten Bleimine im Nordost-Grönland-Nationalpark, die von einem australischen Bergbauunternehmen exploriert wurde.

Wir filmten auch die Black Angel Mine, sicherlich eine der abgelegensten Minen der Welt, die nördlich des Eisfjords Ilulissat (UNESCO Weltkulturerbe) liegt, und die Disko-Insel. Dort investieren derzeit Bill Gates und Jeff Bezos in die Exploration von Nickel, Kupfer, Kobalt, Platin und andere Rohstoffe, die für Elektrofahrzeuge und erneuerbare Energien unverzichtbar sind.

Dirk Rossmann says the inspiration for writing Das dritte Herz des Oktopus was to raise awareness of climate change and to do his bit for the planet. Together with award winning author Ralf Hoppe they have penned a best selling climate thriller trilogy.
Creating the TV promo for the book was a great side project for colourFIELD.
Now there is talk of a feature film ...stay tuned.

Congratulations to camera operators Ledoux Florian Photographer, Peter Thompson, and Anton Elchaninov on being nominated for Best Camera in Documentation for this years Deutsche Fernsehpreis. It must have been difficult for panel to select just three people from the incredible colourFIELD team involved in creating the incredible images for Die Arktis, 66,5 Grad Nord.

The English version of the three part series is narrated by Emmy nominee and UN Goodwill Ambassador Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Game of Thrones) and his equally talented wife and actress Nukâka Coster Waldau.
