Blue Sky over Antinori Yesterday, a new project was launched: “The Antinori Winery.” I will be posting the pictures gradually. The Antinori Winery, one of Italy’s most renowned wineries, is located near Florence, more precisely in San Casciano Val di Pesa, in the heart of the famous Chianti region. The Antinori family looks back on over 600 years of winemaking tradition and is considered one of Italy’s most influential wine producers.
The Antinori winery is an outstanding example of innovative architecture that blends harmoniously into the idyllic landscape of the Chianti hills. The building was designed and constructed over a period of seven years according to the wishes of Marchese Piero Antinori. It is characterized by an introverted design that blends almost invisibly into its surroundings while meeting the latest technical and ecological standards.
The winery is not only a place of wine production, but also an architectural highlight that impresses visitors with its innovative design and combination of tradition and modernity.

Massi
Here a monocrome Pic's from the Shooting with Massi.
There is a saying in Germany: We are from the same tree. And I had this feeling right from the start. I feel good with him. He has a fantastic store, not only for musicians, but also for hi-fi enthusiasts.
His range of old vintage equipment, e.g., tube amplifiers, tape recorders, but also the range of equipment for musicians, stage, amplifiers, mixing consoles, etc., is so nice...it suits his soul perfectly.
So if you play guitar, bang on drums, or just want to chat with other people and happen to be in Siena... guys... you have to go there.
I love this store and this crazy guy... Rock and roll never die.

***Spyder Awards Winner Announcement***
What a great end to the year! Three weeks ago, I won two bronze medals at Tifa Tokyo. This weekend, all three of my submitted pictures made it to the finals of the 20th Spyder Awards, where I was honoured with the title of nominee.
I would like to express my sincere thanks to the team and the judges for their work and for organising this fantastic competition. My congratulations to all the other winners.

***Tifa Tokyo Winner Announcement***

What a message from a follower on Instagram. Well, actually, two days before moving to my new home in Siena, Tuscany, I wanted to spend a quiet evening and almost missed it. A little exhausted from six weeks of packing and so on.

And then this message. Not only my single image “The Queen of the Harbour” but also my project “CalaFantastico” were awarded the bronze medal in Tokyo.

What a way to end the year. And then in two days, I’ll be joining my beloved in Costalpino to spend the rest of my life with her.

Of all my awards, that is the real jackpot.

***Nd Award Winners Announcement***
What wonderful news! At the Nd awards 2025 edition, not only did my picture Dark News, Dark Clouds win the Honourable Mention prize in Architecture, but my project CalaFantastico did too. This makes me forget the back pain I’ve been suffering from over the last four weeks of work due to my move to Siena. A wonderful painkiller. I am very happy about this and would like to thank the entire Nd Award team and the judges for their work on this fantastic competition. Congratulations to all the other winners.

The ancient Tresure. For me, this is one of the most beautiful churches in my new home in Siena. Yes, the Duomo is great, but here at the Pieve di San Giovanni Battista a Ponte allo Spino, it is simply beautiful, so mystical, especially when the long shadows and soft light of autumn arrive. A Romanesque parish church was first mentioned in 1050. What it has seen, so many human lives, so many desperate people crying out for help, but also so many beautiful feelings through marriage or baptism. A true beauty, sublime and faithful to us. It is considered a Romanesque monument of the Tuscan countryside. ————————————————

Full House at Siena Cathedral Siena Cathedral is truly impressive. Although its real treasure is almost completely covered, it is understandable that these unique and beautiful floor tile reliefs need to be protected. But it’s not just the chequerboard pattern that is worth mentioning; looking up reveals its full splendour. It’s wonderful to have something like this in your home town. ———————————— ©️peterplorin.de

Beautiful foogy time at the apenien. The area on the border between eastern Tuscany and Umbria, with the Apennine Mountains, is incredibly beautiful. I visited a friend in his private holiday home with my girlfriend for two days and already fell in love with this mountainous, densely wooded region. Wild, beautiful and rugged, exactly what a Viking photo artist loves. ———————————————————————
