Beim größten deutschen Seekartenverlag werden Seekarten für die Reviere in der Ostsee, der Karibik und der US. Sportschiffahrtskarten und die nv-charts. ⛵ The new marine protected areas in the Baltic Sea and NV Charts

🌊 Since March 2026, three new marine protected areas have been designated in the Baltic Sea off the coast of Schleswig-Holstein.

🗺️ To help you navigate with confidence, the latest NV Charts Baltic Series 1 update already includes the new protected area boundaries. As soon as the final regulations are published, they will be added to the charts as well.

🌊 Status quo: Sailing and boating through these areas is still permitted. At the moment, there are no specific speed limits or navigation restrictions that apply exclusively to these new protected zones. However, additional regulations – including speed limits, anchoring rules or seasonal restrictions – are currently being prepared.

⚠️The King Christian X Bridge in Sonderborg os currently affected by repair works and will be completely closed from ⛔ May 26 - 30, 2026 ⛔. No passage possible during this period.
From June 1 - 2, 2026, the bridge opens only every 2 hours within regular bridge opening hours (6:45 - 21:45). ⚠️⛵
