Two of our fantastic authors, Marek Torčík and Jaroslav Kříž, were in Chicago late October to introduce the English translation of their books.

On October 26, Marek Torčík joined us as part of his U.S. book tour, reading from his award-winning novel Memory Burn.

Just a few days later, on October 28, during a reception at the Czech Consulate General in Chicago, historian Jaroslav Kříž introduced the English translation of his book Czech America: Chicago.

We are proud to announce the publication of Memory Burn, the English edition (translated by Graeme and Suzanne Dibble) of the Magnesia Litera Award and Jiří Orten Prize winning novel by Marek Torčík.
