We are raising multilingual kids...

🇬🇧 ENGLISH: Immersion at home.
We speak to them in English 100%. It’s our default as Nigerians, so it’s their first language and heart language.

🇩🇪 GERMAN: Immersion at school.
Kita + Grundschule here in Freiburg means German is what they hear 6hrs a day. They picked it up by playing, singing and just living it.

🇫🇷 FRENCH: Exposure (Bundesländer)
We visit Strasbourg often since we’re in a border state. The cartoons, signs, bakery trips + hearing it around us made it click. They started copying words and now they understand a lot.

No language classes. No stress. Just home + school + life.
