Presenting at Ars 2025: Tender Soul of Ocean: recall
Tender Soul of Ocean began in Keelung, Taiwan, as response to maritime culture and our perceived distance from the ocean. For its latest version, recall, WHYIXD invited us to collaborate — expanding the piece with speculative wind models, real-time motion sensing, and generative sound.
Building on our weather engine from HYDROSFEER and the generative engine from THE HERDS, environmental data and visitors’ movements unfold into drones, winds, and piano textures — resonating in Ambisonics as shifting fields of spatial sound.
A shared sensory experience of memory and the natural world, brought to life through light and sound.
