🎉MADE IN EU celebrates its world premiere at the Venice International Film Festival! 🎉
Our international Co-Production MADE IN EU, the new feature film by award-winning director Stephan Komandarev, is celebrating its world premiere at the Venice International Film Festival! The film will be shown in the "Spotlight" section and is in the running for the Armani Beauty Audience Award. 🎥
The film drama MADE IN EU tells a powerful and unembellished story about working conditions in European textile factories - and how quickly a society looks for someone to blame in times of crisis. The focus is on seamstress Iva (Gergana Pletnyova), who has to continue working despite a mysterious illness. When it turns out that she is the first Covid case in her small town - even though she hasn't left it for years - she finds herself at the center of a growing wave of mistrust, fear and exclusion. Together with her son Misho (Todor Kotsev), she becomes the target of a social witch hunt. 🎬

Unsere internationale Koproduktion MADE IN EU, der neue Spielfilm des vielfach ausgezeichneten Regisseurs Stephan Komandarev, feiert seine Weltpremiere bei den Internationalen Filmfestspielen von Venedig! Der Film wird in der Sektion "Spotlight" gezeigt und geht ins Rennen um den Armani Beauty Publikumspreis. 🎥
Das Filmdrama MADE IN EU erzählt eindringlich und ungeschönt von den Arbeitsbedingungen in europäischen Textilfabriken - und wie schnell eine Gesellschaft in Krisenzeiten Schuldige sucht. Im Mittelpunkt steht die Näherin Iva (Gergana Pletnyova), die trotz einer rätselhaften Krankheit weiterarbeiten muss. Als sich herausstellt, dass sie der erste Covid-Fall ihrer Kleinstadt ist - obwohl sie diese seit Jahren nicht verlassen hat - gerät sie ins Zentrum einer wachsenden Welle aus Misstrauen, Angst und Ausgrenzung. Gemeinsam mit ihrem Sohn Misho (Todor Kotsev) wird sie zum Ziel einer gesellschaftlichen Hexenjagd. 🎬
