Doomcore Records Podcast 036 - This is Ultra Slowcore - 35 BPM or less

Slowcore Techno has been around for a while now, and gotten a huge surge in visibility with the release of the Slowcore Compilations and the start of Slowcore Records... but... the tracks just keep getting slower!
We are no longer talking 100, 90, 80 BPM, but there is a whole lot of stuff now with even lower tempos.
Just as Speedcore, beginning in the 90s, went faster and faster, the opposite is happening, too, with more and more tracks of extremely reduced speed emerging.
Would "Ultra Slowcore" be the right term for this movement?

So this is a selection of very slow Hardcore, Doomcore, Industrial and Tempo tracks, with a range of 1 bpm to 35 bpm.
We hope you enjoy this experience.
And, whatever you may think of this music, at least it's a change of pace from the usual stuff that is around these days - in a literal sense!

Tracklisting:

1. Low Entropy feat. Countess M - Creeping Doom (Vocal Version) (1 BPM)
2. Low Entropy - Thunderdoom (1 BPM)
3. Low Entropy - This Is History (1-4-16 BPM)
4. Low Entropy - Locked Down Slowcore (16 bpm)
5. Soldiers Of Nothingness Knights Eternal - There Is Slow Future (21.5 bpm)
6. Nicola Current - But It Wasn't The end (25 bpm)
7. Time Kanzler Green - Search & Destroy (35 bpm)
8. Low Entropy - Futuristic 1 (Slowcore Makeover) (8 / 16 / 32 BPM)
9. Low Entropy - Close Your Eyes Slowly (32 bpm)

Hello Everybody! We're happy to announce that the submission phase has started for the next compilation on Slowcore Records. The first two compilations have been *huge*, and we are sure the third one will be a banger as well!

The Slowcore Compilation Part 3

The rules for submissions are as follows:

1. Tracks must be slower than 126 BPM. The slower, the better! Even 1 BPM is possible.

2. Could be any dark electronic style like Doomcore, Techno, Industrial, Acid etc... as long as it's slow.

3. Deadline is October 24th 2022 11:59 pm.
No track will be accepted after this deadline.

4. We don't do mastering. If you want your tracks to be mastered, you have to do it yourself (this is not necessary, though, as long as your track is of decent quality).

The accepted tracks will be released digitally on the Slowcore Records Bandcamp page in a "free or pay what you want" release. All profits made will be donated to charity.

Submit tracks as links via email to [email protected] subject "The Slowcore Compilation Part 3". Please include the BPM of your track in your email, too.

Compilation with 7 artists and almost one hour of Slowcore music!
Brutal, slow, relentless, industrial drumming joined with ice-cold and grim melodies and atmospheres.
Something for the lowers of low tempo Hardcore dirges.
This release also includes one of the first Slowcore Acid tracks ever, "Search And Destroy" by Time Kanzler Green.
