Dear Junglist, it was a little silent the last month but now the dubcore series continues! some fresh matrial in the name of rolling snares coming down from Bässestadt Leipzig with this high pressure 45 rpm disco cut!

Dubcore 27 features DJ Badshape from Leipzig’s vibrant breaks and bass scene with her full vinyl debut. She already made her solo debut with Hurrican Kick on Defrostatica Records and dropped some tunes on some compilations like Bassmæssage Second Drop as well as on cassette on human togetherness. While producing tunes she dj and regularly uploads her Temper mixes on SoundCloud.

Hello Earthlings! Another Riddim Dub School comes down the Jordan for the 28.11.2025!

The 9th Riddim Dub School psychonautic explorations in the 5th dubmension. The first side brings us DARE! VAMPIE, a tune made by Prince Istari and Nozomi in courtesy of the Dubstressors. This was done while Prince Istari holds a Dub Science seminar. Here you go with four versions in a strip down dub style. Flipside brings synth line driven stepper SONIC ATTACK OF THE CIRCADAS. that one and the following two versions of DUBMENSIONAL SACNTUARY are both supported by the old Hohner Rythm 80 percussion machine. Is Prince Istari dropping out from mid highschool with this release? Or will he be back for the 10th grade? we may see.

preorders are on for RIDDIM DUB SCHOOL 8th Grade. this one hit the bassbins on 26th september this summer. check your prefared bass supplier for preorder or the bandcamp page from SPB!

The subtitle for this PRINCE ISTARI release is top ranking stepper science class. But not only steppers are on this six tracker. here we step into the 8th grade of junior high school with two cuts of the EWIL-MERODUB, one acid stepper and one strip down drum and bass version. Ewil-Merodach son of Nebukadnezar is also known as Amēl-Marduk (Second Book of Kings 25,27). The last tune on the A-side is D**E DISCO STYLE DUB with some synth keys into niceness land. Flipside TROUBLE NO SET LIKE RAIN brings you a deep rockers riddim with some melancholic horns section. this one is a heavy load tune! STEP INTO CALABI-YAU follows up and is a particular type of manifold gently stepperdub which has certain properties, such as Ricci flatness tom tom echos, yielding electro piano applications in theoretical physics. Last tune is the tricky ones here in terms of the drum beats (it’s based upon the Peanuts Vendor Riddim Beat for those of you who want to know) and is called BODERATION TIMES DUB and features PRINCE ISTARI on his 6 string bass guitar solo. Its more of a serious dubinstrumental then a dub tune.
