Boris Rautenberg - Motion & Design

Boris Ra******rg is a designer and motion graphics artist based in Hamburg, Germany.

Boris studied communication design at the Design Factory International and film at the Academy of fine Arts Hamburg. Since 2001 he works as a graphic designer, since 2007 he specializes in Motion Design & 3D and since 2009 he also teaches as a lecturer for several media colleges. He has worked for clients such as Olympus, Coop Denmark, Macromedia University and the Hamburg Filmfestival.

For the German NGO "Nordverbund" I directed & animated this Explainer.

3D Modeling and animation was done in Cinema 4D. 2D animation was done in After Effects, with the help of Element 3D, Pastiche, Newton & Duik.

I was tasked to create the Intro and other OnAir elements for for the new TV channel of soccer giant FC Bayern.
On of the challenges besides the tight deadline was the recreation & animation of the iconic "Allianz Arena" stadium.

For the 500th anniversary of Luthers "Thesenschlag" I was tasked to recreate & animate iconic objects of that period.
The animation was then played live during the performance of the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra.
