Dear Friends,
I am happy and humbled that THE END has been selected for the Toronto International Film Festival in the Special Presentations section.

THE END is Joshua Oppenheimer’s Golden Age musical about one of the last families on earth, starring Tilda Swinton as MOTHER and Michael Shannon as FATHER. After the sudden arrival of a stranger, GIRL (Moses Ingram), threatens the family’s luxurious compound deep underground, SON (George MacKay) begins to question their seemingly perfect existence.

Congratulations to Joshua, the entire crew, and everyone who helped make this film possible.

Wir Geräuschemacher und Geräuschemacherinnen mit unseren Teams, den Tonmeistern und Editoren, sind froh und stolz, nach langer Entwicklungsphase endlich mit unserer gemeinsamen Internetpräsenz www.foleyartists.eu online zu sein.
Ab dem 15.10.2023 kann offiziell gestöbert werden.
Wir werden in Zukunft Podcasts produzieren, die unsere Arbeit beleuchten und andere interessante Filmchen über unsere Kunst veröffentlichen.
Das Projekt foleyartists.eu ist als europäisches Projekt geplant - europäische Foleyteams sind also herzlich eingeladen, sich bei uns unter info at foleyartists.eu zu melden Ebenso herzlich eingeladen sind Tonstudios, die eine Foleystage haben, unser Projekt mit einem jährlichen Supportbetrag als Sponsor zu unterstützen.

Ein konkretes Angebot zum geschnittenen Film kann er allerdings nicht ersetzen.

We foley artists and our teams, the foley mixers and foley editors, are happy and proud to finally be online with our website www.foleyartists.eu after a long development phase.
Browsing has officially been possible since October 15, 2023.
In the future, we will produce podcasts that highlight our work and publish other interesting films about foley.
The foleyartists.eu project is planned as a European project - European foley teams are therefore invited to contact us at info at foleyartists.eu. Recording studios that have a foley stage are also invited to support our project as sponsors with an annual support amount. Send a mail to info at foleyartists.eu.
The “heart” of our new website is the online calculator FOLEYMAT, which can help film production companies to calculate an approximation of the expected working time for foley recordings and editing before filming begins. However, it cannot replace a concrete offer for the edited film.

The nominations for the German Film Award LOLA 2023 are out: I am happy to have contributed to a successful result with my Foley for "Rheingold", "Sonne und Beton" and "Räuber Hotzenplotz". "Räuber Hotzenplotz" is nominated in the category Best Children's Film, "Rheingold" and "Sonne und Beton" are nominated in the category Best Feature Film. I am particularly pleased about the nomination of "Sonne und Beton" in the category Best Sound Design.
