Dear Friends,
I am happy and humbled that THE END has been selected for the Toronto International Film Festival in the Special Presentations section.
THE END is Joshua Oppenheimer’s Golden Age musical about one of the last families on earth, starring Tilda Swinton as MOTHER and Michael Shannon as FATHER. After the sudden arrival of a stranger, GIRL (Moses Ingram), threatens the family’s luxurious compound deep underground, SON (George MacKay) begins to question their seemingly perfect existence.
Congratulations to Joshua, the entire crew, and everyone who helped make this film possible.
So many people have been a part of this production that it is impossible to mention everyone by name, but indeed this film could not have been possible without every single one of you!
Thank you to Tilda Swinton, George MacKay, Moses Ingram, Michael Shannon, Bronagh Gallagher, Tim McInnerny, Lennie James, and Danielle Ryan.
