Meet our new ambassador: – 16 years old, river surfer from Munich and fully stoked grom 🌊

He caught his first wave at 7 and now spends every free minute at Floßlände, Eisbach or E2. Whether it’s 6-hour sessions, contests 🏆 or just good times with the crew – Yves lives for surfing. 🤩

He’s also into photography, skating, gravel biking – and dreams of traveling the world 🌍 with his board after school.

His family describes him as warm-hearted, grounded and deeply social – and we couldn’t agree more. 👍

Fabian Lavater has a master’s degree in sustainable development, but his heart lies in painting 🎨 and, since visiting a surf camp in 2011, also in surfing.
The REBEL team is absolutely fascinated by Lavarterart’s paintings, which he himself describes as ‘minimalist, sun-soaked ☀️ work inspired by surf culture, nature, and the quiet rhythms of coastal life.’.
The Swiss 🇨🇭artist finds inspiration for his “dreamy, emotionally resonant scenes that invite stillness and reflection” in his second home, Biarritz, 🇫🇷 or on his travels to surf spots around the world.

Great snapshots 📸 of REBEL SURF Ambassador .sandi checking out his new board at Citywave in Vienna 🇦🇹. In Nikki’s own words: ‘Water under the feet, adrenaline in the blood 🩸 Work, surf, repeat. Urban style.’
Nikki is training hard 💪 as he has some important dates coming up this year. Among them is the Austrian River Surfing Championship in Vienna on September 13th, where he already stood at the top 🥇 of the podium in 2023 and 24.
We’re keeping our fingers crossed 🤞 for Nikki that 2025 will be just as successful as the last few years 🥳. Equipped with our REBEL SURF Rapid Fins nothing can go wrong 😀.
