What can I say? This was one of the most beautiful and meaningful moments I've ever experienced at the Stone Techno Festival.
As a child, I fell in love with visionary techno, sci-fi techno, and especially dub techno. Seeing Peter and René play together as the duo Scion was much more than just a live performance: it was a dream come true, a moment I will cherish forever.
I met Peter about fifteen years ago, and every time I'm lucky enough to see him again, I feel the same emotion as the first time. It's always an immense pleasure and a great honor. His kindness, humility, and humanity are as rare as his art.
Your music literally flows through my veins. It all started with Basic Channel, but also with Scion, Vainqueur, and Substance, artists who ignited in me, since I was a child, a deep love for electronic music and who shaped the way I listen to, experience, and feel sound.
Thank you so much for this unforgettable experience. There are moments that don't need explaining, because they speak directly to the soul. This was one of them.

Thank you, Peter. Thank you, René. And thank you for creating music that continues to inspire, move, and make the heart beat, after all these years.

After almost three years, I want to tell you a little story behind my first vinyl record, 12th May.

Track B1 is called Trust.
It was born in one of those moments when life forces you to take stock. After an accident, I went through a period of amnesia and felt completely dull and confused. My old master, Andrea Merlini, called me every day. One evening he said, “Aooooo! Never stop. Make a track for yourself, show me why it can't end here.” At the time, I had an old record of my grandmother's with me. I don't know if it was from '62, '64, or '67, but it was a Fairuz record that I always jealously guarded, even though I didn't know it at the time. Between 2022 and 2023, I was always surrounded by people, but it was precisely there that I discovered the power of solitude. And in that solitude, after the accident, Fairuz's voice kept me company more than anyone else.
That's why I decided to take a small sample of her voice and put it in "Trust," at the deepest point of the track.
My voice was the synths. Hers was the soul. And sometimes I think that, if it weren't for that voice, maybe I would have stopped a few years ago.
And I wouldn't have written music anymore.
The song that inspired me is: El Yom 'Ulliqa 'Ala Khashaba- Fairuz. Everyone who's listened to "Trust" asks me whose voice it is. I've always answered: "A friend of mine."
And that's where art is born.
