We are so proud to be involved in this beautiful collection of work spanning over nearly a decade of exploration in Iceland. Few can immerse themselves into a culture as effortlessly as our good friend . This documentation of the intimate, the vibrant and resilient world of teenage life on a secluded island makes you feel as though you’re there with him.

Super excited to announce that my first book
“Suddenly & Somehow Brighter” is available for Pre-order with . Copies will be shipping early May, with an official launch at the New York Art Book Fair April 25th-28th, and a book release show in NYC that week.

In 2015 | left the states for the first time on a solo backpacking trip. The first place I went to was Iceland, due to my love for nature. Through couchsurfing, I met and . They brought me in and became my first friends, sharing with me all the beautiful ano wondrous things about their home and culture. I was out of my comfort zone and challenged by an atmosphere I wasn’t accustomed to, but the challenge brought adaptation, peace, and true solace. I came back with later that year and met and his friends, who shared their experience as kids on the island. The shared stories connected with me in both a familiar and unfamiliar way, digging up memories from my childhood and how my home shaped me, and a curiosity of how this island shaped them. In 2017 I decided to explore that deeper, and dedicated to coming back yearly to see my friends and document the unique challenges and joys of adolescence in the island setting. 6 years later and so many amazing new friends made and stories shared.
