It was an honor to be involved in the sound production of the upcoming album by virtuoso bassist Pavel Jakub Ryba, which features stars like Erik Truffaz, Bryan Corbett, and the legendary guitarist Dean Brown (RIP 🖤). Since Pavel knows exactly what he wants, and it was often the exact opposite of what I wanted (I mean, I don't understand why the bass guitar should play solo instead of the guitar—surely that's not allowed 🙂), it turned out to be one of the toughest jobs I've ever taken on. However it was a beautiful and enlightening experience, and the music on the new album truly stands out in the Czech jazz fusion scene.

I had the honor of recording the amazing Steinway & Sons pianos at Klangmanufaktur with the incredibly talented pianist Meddy Ho. 🙏
I used perhaps a little unusually a pair of TF-5 (Tony Faulkner) small diaphragm condenser mics which DISK Multimedia kindly lent me and the result is simply stunning. Instant realistic and concrete piano sound without lengthy processing. But the result of combining such an amazing player with a first-class instrument just couldn't be bad.

A TUHLE ZNÁTE❓ Walda by chtěl být ptákem, mít hnízdo a vábit, ale má jen pupek a dobře rostlej zobák, kterým o tom všem tklivě zpívá ve svém novém singlu. Jen kytara, hlas a tolik síly.🤯 Walda nahrál v Brně a já mu nakonec lehce pokroutil čudlíkama. Byla to oboustranná radost.

Origin Of Infinity they arrived and killed. These guys recorded this devil piece in BOUDAstudio last year and now they're releasing it as hot as hell itself. Click on them and love them, because they do it well - we haven't had rats on the ship since then, people have stayed.
